This course is among the most popular courses I offer. The students take 1-2 tests per week under timed conditions on their own. They will grade or have their parents grade and record the results on the tracking form linked in my tracking form video. Each week the class holds a 1.5 hour session where both of those tests are reviewed with the question selection coming from the students letting me know by private message which problems they want help with. In this way no student needs to worry about other students knowing which questions they asked if they fear being shy or embarrassed because they asked an earlier question.
We then cover every past test for about 1 hour each and ranging from the year 2000 to the Present Day. We will supplement this with AoPS: Introduction to PreAlgebra content in remaining time. The students will need their own copy of this text with solutions which they can find linked on my Resources Page at the top of my website.
The class will finish the second week of January right before the AMC 8.
I also add in a Small Notebook Review Session where I give them additional formulas and concepts I have picked up along the way in my own journey of Mathematical Enlightenment. Students can join at any week in the process, and leave at any week in the process. Sessions are recorded for the purpose of letting absent students take part in the class. This is taught through interactive Zoom and I write on the screen directly using a stylus.
